BIOGRAPHY

Alain Mimouni was born in 1967 in Paris. Gradueted from Ipedec (institute of decorative art of paris) On unreal textured background Alain Mimouni's work is between painting and sculpture he secretly blends in precision forms and colours.

His technique allows him to mix on canvas, plexiglass or aluminium, materials never used like stone effect, wood oxydised metal. Gold and Silver leafs are very important in his work. Colours are prepared in his studio with organic or mineral ground pigments, and marble pouder.

Alain Mimouni picks his inspiration in the memory of many trips he has done and is very influenced by hebrew letter and numbers.

18 is life, 26 is the name of G D.

Textures

Alain Mimouni works on differents panels :

- canvas with 3d texture.
- plexiglass with 3d texture.
- aluminium without 3d texture.
- plexiglass gives more shine to the painting and aluminium more transparency.

Some paintings are limited editions, most of the time on plexiglass.

INTERIORS

Most of my paintings can be modified to fit your interior.

Size, colors, theme, gold and silver can be moved to change the painting, but it has to be done to keep the same spirit and design.

Large size
From the paintings of the gallery I can realize some very large size example 72X72.

Duptique (2 parts) and triptique (3 parts), can be ordered.

Also some walls of your interior can be textured with stucco, chaux, patina to embelished and fit with the painting.
